Our school day runs from 8:00 to 3:00 Monday through Thursday. LCA students dismiss early every Friday at 2:00. Students may be dropped off no earlier than 7:40 and are to be picked up no later than 3:15.

We also offer wrap-around care outside our normal school hours for an additional fee. It’s available 7:00 – 5:30 daily for a $50 weekly fee. If extended hours are needed, students may enroll in aftercare at New Beginnings Child Care for $92.00 per week. New Beginnings wrap-around hours are 6:00 – 6:00 daily. LCA will transport the students to and from school.

LCA caters from vendors like Golden Corral, Chick-Fil-A, Dominos, and Jersey Mikes. Parents order lunches (on ParentsWeb) in advance by 9:00 each Monday morning. Milk, juice, tea, and sodas are available for purchase daily. Students are always welcome to bring a lunchbox and are encouraged to bring a healthy snack.

Our school uniform consists of solid color polos or button-down shirts with no logos, patterns, or stripes. Pants (or knee-length shorts or skirts) may be worn in a navy blue or khaki color and Upper School students are permitted to wear jeans. Shoes may be any color. But we don’t allow flip-flops, light ups, skate shoes, or any other distracting shoes. Fridays are dress-down days. Students can wear non-uniform clothes.

Our staff has years of experience teaching in both private and public-school settings. Many of our teachers have earned graduate and post graduate degrees. Teachers at LCA are required to have a degree from an accredited institution that relates to their field of teaching. See our staff page for more information.

LCA incorporates a formal Bible class into the curriculum of every grade level. The Bible is also used in other subjects on occasion. Students may use any translation they prefer if it’s an accurate translation suitable for classroom study.

Scripture memory is also an integral part of our Bible education. Elementary grades use KJV, NKJV, NIV, or HCSB and all students will memorize the same translation. In middle and high school, students will memorize from HCSB, ESV, NASB, NKJV, or AMP. Teachers designate the translation version to be memorized.

We provide transportation from various locations in Onslow and Duplin counties. There’s an additional fee for students who use the busing service.

We offer various specials during the week. Elementary classes take physical education, art, music, computer, and Spanish every week.

Middle school students can select their choice of a fine art elective (taken twice weekly) including PE, computer, and/or Spanish.

We offer a variety of programs to enhance your student’s educational experience. They include:

  • Band and Chorus
  • Beta Club
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes
  • Liberty Leads
  • Men of Valor
  • Ladies of Liberty

Sports are offered for grades 6th – 12th. They include volleyball, cheerleading, cross-country, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and golf.
